2012年4月にオープンソースとして軽量Rubyが発表されました。そしてこの軽量Rubyの維持・メンテナンス・エンジニアのスキルアップ・普及活動を行うために、2013年１月にNPO法人軽量Rubyフォーラムが設立されました。

2012 April , mruby was uploaded to GitHub as OSS.And at 2013 Jan.. ,NPO mruby forum was launched to maintain,to educate techinichans, and to promote mruby.
